Sheriff’s Shop with Santa

The Sheriff’s Shop with Santa program in 2008. Georgetown County Sheriff’s Office employees take a group of students from deserving families to participate on a shopping spree during the Christmas Holiday. The students are selected by area schools to participate based on students who demonstrated good behavior and good grades. The students are fed breakfast at Walmart and, accompanied by a deputy, while they shop, filling shopping carts with gifts for themselves and their families. The program is paid for through donations collected from businesses and the community throughout the year.
