Active Shooter Training

The Georgetown County Sheriff’s Office has an Active Shooter Training Program for Schools, Businesses, Churches, and Community Groups taught by Deputies who are certified instructors. The course is held onsite or at the sheriff’s office. The course is 1 1/2 hours long and covers how to plan, prepare, reduce the risk and respond to an active shooter incident. There is no cost for the class.
