SUSPECT IN ANDREWS SHOOTING IN CUSTODY

June 29, 2025 Sheriff Carter Weaver has announced an arrest in a domestic violence incident involving gunfire that occurred in the town of Andrews Saturday night.
Tyquan Kevin Palmer, 20, of Circle Drive in Williamsburg County has been charged with Attempted Murder, Burglary in the First Degree and four counts of Assault and Battery in the First Degree following a confrontation with a woman on West Myrtle Road.
Palmer is accused of entering the woman's residence, striking her and, after going outside, firing shots into a screen door and a wall.
He is being held at Georgetown County Detention Center pending a bond hearing.
